Most sessions are scheduled and booked on Tuesday - Thursday Mornings. Most weekday morning sessions start between 8:00 and 9:00 AM and finish within an hour or two and most students check in to school after their session. If you require or need a holiday week session, please reach out to me for availability. If you are choosing a weekend session this is my current availability. Dates are chosen on a first come first served basis and are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Thank you so much for visiting, showing interest in my work, and considering booking your 2024 Senior portraits with me. The Seniors of 2024 will be my eleventh class that I will have the honor of creating Senior Portraits for.
Class of 2024, please do not hesitate to book! My session dates for the classes of 2014 through 2023 have all sold out and I cannot thank our community enough for the support! This season I plan to have about 30 weekend session date openings and only 40 total weekday session openings.

Deposits are now being accepted as reservations to choose specific session dates on a first come first serve basis.

Class of 2023 Session Information
All AKSP Senior sessions include:
- A private online gallery set of professionally edited and retouched high resolution digital files to download for archival purposes. The number of images in your gallery will correspond with the session option you choose. I will choose the best images from your session for your gallery. With digital images included you will have the ability to make & share your own prints. Gallery images are selected by the photographer for technical and artistic quality and are at the photographer's discretion. Please review images on the home page to get an idea of my portfolio, my style and posing, and my artistic eye for what you can expect.
2024 AKSP Senior Session Options
Rates listed below guaranteed until December 2023 and may increase for new bookings in 2024.
Requested Session locations outside of New Iberia may have a travel fee.
*The Petite Session – $50 to reserve your session date and $150 due the day of the session
- Do you have a Senior who is not thrilled by a photo session, but you would still like quality images to have and share? This short and sweet session is for you!
- Recommended up to 2 outfits and a 30-minute session, delivered as a gallery of 10 High Resolution Digital Images.
- This session choice is available for bookings on weekday mornings.
*The Perks Session – $50 to reserve your session date and $250 due the day of the session
- Recommended 2 outfits and a 45-minute session, delivered as a gallery of 15+ High Resolution Digital Images.
- This session choice is available for bookings on weekday mornings.
*The Plus Session – $50 to reserve your session date and $350 due the day of the session
- Recommended 2-3 outfits and a 1-hour+ session, delivered as a gallery of 25+ High Resolution Digital Images.
- This session choice is available for bookings on weekday mornings.
*The Prime Session – $100 to reserve your session date and $450 due the day of the session
- 2-3 outfits and a 1.5-hour+ session, delivered as a gallery of 35+ Retouched High Resolution Digital Images.
- This session choice is available for bookings on weekday mornings and weekends.
- SAVE $50 if you choose a weekday morning session time.
*The Peak Session – $100 to reserve your session date and $550 due the day of the session
- 2-4 outfits and a 2-hour+ session, delivered as a gallery of 45+ Retouched High Resolution Digital Images.
- This session choice is available for bookings on weekday mornings and weekends.
- SAVE $50 if you choose a weekday morning session time.
Additional Considerations
- Session location travel within New Iberia is included in your fee. Any location travel outside of New Iberia can have an additional travel fee added to the balance due to extra time and expense.
- Examples: Lafayette $50+, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles $100+, New Orleans $200+ Houston $300+, etc.
2. I can offer several free public photo location options for your session in New Iberia. If you choose a location that has a fee you are responsible for paying that additional fee directly to the venue. If you have a different location you would like to use, please let me know

3. I am an outdoor, mostly natural light photographer. Mother Nature is my studio, and we may be at her whim for a usable day. The color and quality of the light and the amount of natural light available on the day of your session will set the color grading tone of your images. We will closely monitor the weather and I will make suggestions based on the information we have available at the time and in most cases, it will be your final call on whether to proceed or reschedule if the weather is a concern. Days are left open each season specifically for this. Weather concerns may include forecasted or actual rain, gusty wind, too cold, too humid, poor light quality due to heavy cloud cover or recent rains that left wet locations.
4. In order to secure your spot on the calendar a session dependent $50 or $100 booking retainer deposit is required, and dates are not held until that is received.
5. All images in your gallery will be “artistically edited” meaning your images will have a cohesive look based on the light available at shooting time and they will be technically adjusted for color, cropping, exposure, clarity, temperature balance, shadows, highlights, minor surface blemish removal, realistic teeth whitening etc. Premium retouching for more specific issues like tan lines, extensive acne, excessive fly aways for hair, realistic figure slimming, etc. may be added onto any image for an additional fee.
6. A few more considerations when booking with me. Honestly, if you are just looking for a button clicker on a nice camera, I may not be your girl. If you are looking for someone to just recreate other photographers Pinterest poses, I may not be for you. If you are looking for someone who is beginning portfolio building, looking to work for experience, willing to work for exposure or someone who is not a legal, tax paying, insurance carrying business, I am not for you. But, if you are looking for someone who truly loves working with this age group and will always find a way to make even the most hesitant teen loosen up and feel comfortable, someone who makes sure to build their confidence and get real smiles, someone professional who invests in our community, gear and education, someone who has shot hundreds of sessions and understands posing and light, someone who values their own artistic eye and creativity and truly considers what she does an art...a gift, someone you can trust to deliver clear, beautiful images to help you and your child remember this time in their life...well then I just may be your girl! :)

Now that you’ve looked through my portfolio to see samples of my work on my home page, including 2022 Seniors showcased on this page, and you’ve seen my competitive pricing there are a few more things for you to consider when making your decision.
Knocking on wood here, but my sessions are generally returned to you in two weeks or less! I know you are excited to see your images and (barring extenuating and rare circumstances) I won’t make you wait any longer than possible to enjoy your images!
I work with a professional, high end, full beauty Retoucher to make sure you look like the best version of yourself! We make sure that retouching looks real. I insist that skin still looks like beautiful skin with natural texture, but we make sure to expertly remove those temporary blemishes, smooth uneven texture, soften slight wrinkles and naturally whiten teeth and make sure your eyes look natural and beautiful.
Do you hate buying something only to see it go on sale later? Well, me too! You will never see a better value on my 2023 sessions as you do at the time of booking, so you do not have to worry about waiting for a sale to book and risk getting leftover dates or seeing the session you had at any better rate.
When I post sneak peek images from sessions the comments from friends almost always include something along the lines of “Oh wow, I love all of them so far, how will you ever pick??” That is where my clients can relax and smile because they don’t have to pick! I have a no image left behind philosophy and you will get all of the images that are included in your package. So, no worrying about loving an image but not being able to afford it after the fact, no worrying about if you don’t buy additional images will they be deleted, no worrying about a small sitting fee in the beginning and a big bill at the end to actually get your images, no worrying at all. They are all yours!
Your session includes the download of digital images that I choose as your best of the best images from your session which can be viewed as film negatives were pre-digital age. You will be able to share online and via email. You will be able to print what, when and where you want. For your convenience, I will also pre-upload your entire gallery to my recommended online consumer printer at www.MPIX.com. They often run sales and it is easy with all of your images loaded to make your choices. Photo collage graduation announcements are a popular alternative to the traditional formal invite and wallets and can easily be ordered.
Ordering prints from my professional lab is also available direct in your gallery on my site and is as easy as online shopping.
I also know that this is a milestone event that everyone feels pressure to get right. I want to make sure you feel prepared and comfortable going into your session so I will work with you to guide you in choosing your outfits, give you tips on how to prepare your hair, skin, and nails and assist you in rocking your personal style and looking your best. You will be prepared and confident!
Print Options
Digitals images are convenient, easy to share and if stored properly can be accessible for a long time for reproduction and sending to friends and family and they also give you the freedom to print what, where and when you want.
After your session and when you receive your images digitally I encourage you to make sure that you get some printed as well. Prints are what we love to thumb through over the years and display to bring us joy daily.
You will have several options to get your digital images as prints:
1. Purchase images as popular print items direct from your gallery on my site through my professional lab

2. Order print items through me and my professional lab by submitting your order via text, phone call or email. Payment for direct orders is expected a the time of the order. All items will have the addition of sales tax.

3. For your convenience, your gallery will also be uploaded to a popular consumer printing lab site, www.MPix.com, and you can make selections and order from there. They often run great sales and 4x6 start at just .29
4. You may download your files and upload them at any photo lab of your choice with your print release. I cannot guarantee image, paper or color quality from any lab orders other than my own.
5. Photo Graduation invites and thank you cards are a great idea and greatly appreciated by the recipient. You will find lots of easy choices on mpix.com
AKSP Contractual Details Review
- $100 and $50 Booking Retainers are non-refundable and are a retainer of services and date selected. Your session is not considered confirmed or booked until the deposit is received and cleared. If for extenuating circumstances your session needs to be cancelled the deposit will be forfeited by you as liquidated damages. All Senior 2024 sessions must be completed by April 26, 2024. Due to the custom nature of this artistic service. Once the session is completed there are no refunds as the work has been provided.
- Location and location travel allotments vary depending on session selected. Travel time during a session is a part of the session time frame. All sessions are generally expected to be held within New Iberia. Additional travel fees may apply and the client is responsible for any location fees, if applicable.
- Session balances are due in full the day of the session. Payments may be broken up and sent in prior. Payment for additional products and prints is expected at the time of order. All applicable sales tax will be added as mandated by our local government.
- Items are provided as digital in nature and are direct downloads from my site to your computer and it is your responsibility to preserve the images once they are released to you. I highly recommend saving the files in a few different places, USB, Cloud, online storage, external hard drive etc. You may choose to provide me with a USB to load your images to or you can purchase my keepsake crystal USB. AK Sellers Photography is under no expectation to retain the images once the gallery is sent.
